Have heard a lot of good things about the movie, and I wasn't disappointed in the least. Not a short movie, but a 2001 Space Odyssey for the current generation. Some interesting concepts and something Stanley Kubrick would have loved I believe. Have the opportunity, buy the movie and settle down to enjoy.
The movie did raise some interesting concepts about time and how we perceive it. I don't understand all the concepts they were putting forward, and the paradox that was raised makes my head hurt. I'm not going to give any spoilers but this brings all the elements of the best science fiction forward, everything from black holes, to worm holes, and makes them a believable part of the movie. The time relativity was another interesting concept that makes you really think.
Eject! Eject! Eject! I can see how that would be a preferable death, but it's still funny and ultimately futile. My question is how the F Cooper gets back to the our normal 3D reality at the peek of Saturn, how he gets back.
I remember leaving the theater and just feeling so ridiculously small and insignificant. To say that this movie had a strong impact on the way I view the world would be an understatement.

Confusing. This is literally the only movie ive ever watched where at the end I just sat up in bed and just thought in awe and wonder of the utter masterpiece I just watched THE BEST MOVIE I EVER SAW. Interstellar, started off as geek porn. Then it became confusing. Then it left you staring at credits, wondering what the heck Christopher Nolan just had you watch. I was mad at first. I was mad that Christopher Nolan ruined what could have been one of the greatest films of the year. I thought that Nolan's idea of interstellar space travel, could've made the next star wars. But it didn't. And I'm glad. Instead Nolan made a movie that tried to explain the unexplainable. It tried to explain black holes, world's with more than three dimensions, and so much more. While, at the same time, having a beautiful plot, that aims to get the theme across, that love transcends time and space. But it didn't. At first. Walking out of that movie theater I was mad. Mad because I was confused. I didn't understand the bigger picture, yet. I only started to understand it when I got back home, and I just thought about it. And I'm not sure I quite understand all of it, when I'm writing this review right now. But the best movies, are the ones that make you think. And I think that I'll be thinking about this movie for weeks, months. Because I'm not sure that I'll ever be able to look at a movie the same way again after watching Interstellar. For a movie that is so complex, it gets a simple point across. And to understand that simple point, you just have to look past the fact that you may be confused about some of the subjects in the movie, you have a whole lifetime to learn about them. You just have to look at the bigger picture.
